Bakes on demand 24/7, shop our bakes that can be delivered directly to you, allow up to 3 working days from order to dispatch (you will receive a notification when they have been dispatched), they will be shipped via Royal Mail tracked 24 and this is included in the price. NOTE: we do not dispatch on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays. Only posted to the UK mainland.

Our Cakes and Bakes for Local Collection

These can be ordered at any time, these include celebration cakes and sharing & party size bakes, please note we require a minimum of 7 days pre-collection. Please see the FAQ’s below about bespoke and wedding bakes & cakes

Our treat boxes include brownies, blondies, cookie pies, cookie fudge bars, giant stuffed cookies to name a few!

Opening Hours

We are open for postal bakes 24/7, these will be dispatched within 3 working days from ordering and sent via Royal Mail tracked 24 – note there are no dispatches on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays. Posted UK mainland wide.

Cakes for collection can be ordered at any time, we require a minimum of 7 days’ notice pre collection from our outskirts of York Bakery (if you do need it earlier drop us an email to see if we can fit into the kitchen schedule)

How do I order your postal boxes?

You can order our postal bakes 24/7, they will be dispatched up to 3 working days after the order is placed, they will be sent via Royal Mail tracked 24, please note there will be no dispatches on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays.

How long does it take for my postal box to arrive?

Delivery is included in the price and all boxes are sent tracked 24 with Royal Mail

Please allow 3 working days for dispatch from the day you order (eg Mondays orders would be dispatched at the latest on a Wednesday) We ship items via Royal Mail tracked 24 parcel. Royal Mail states 1-2 days for 24h , but due to COVID-19 it now states 1-7 working days.

When can I collect my bakes?

Collection times of the day can sometimes differ but are usually between 12-2pm or 6-7pm on a weekday and 9.30-10.30am on a Saturday. You will always be emailed your exact timeslot including full pick up address when you place an order. We require 7 days notice for bakes for collection, but do drop us an email if you need it earlier as we may have space within the kitchen schedule to accommodate your request! enquiries@sarahjthomas.com

Can you make a bespoke cake for me?

Do you do wedding cakes and wedding pudding stations?

We absolutely do, and again please drop us an email with exactly what you are looking for, pictures are always helpful too, and in the instance of a pudding station as much information about your big day and requirements as possible and we will get back to you!

I have a food allergy/dietary requirement are your cakes suitable for me?

No, our products are made in a kitchen with allergens – Cereals containing Gluten, Milk, Eggs, Peanuts, Nuts, Sesame, Wheat, Soya, Barley, Butter. Please see individual products for more information. Sarah J Thomas Bakes products are not suitable for people with allergies or special dietary requirements or anyone who might have a hidden allergy.
